Betta and buying group Narta have teamed up to exclusively launch home appliance brand Beko in Australia.

Beko appliances are now available in more than 134 Betta stores throughout the country.

The international brand hit store floors this month with more than 62 products available in Australia across six categories. Its arrival here was heralded back in November with a March launch schedule but stock has hit stores early.

BSR Group CEO, Graeme Cunningham said the company was already celebrating the first Beko product sale in Australia, closed at Garry Thyer’s Betta Home Living Townsville store.

The Beko brand is part of the established Turkish parent company, Arcelik Group, which is the third largest appliance company in Europe.

“We are very proud to partner with Beko, via the buying group National Associated Retail Traders of Australia (Narta),” said Cunningham.

“Beko is one of the biggest manufacturers to enter the market place in Australia in recent years and is renowned internationally, for its huge range of quality, affordable products.

“The new partnership is the perfect opportunity to provide our customers with an even wider, home appliance product selection.

“We look forward to working with Beko and marketing the brand.”

The initial product line from Beko will include dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, cooktops, front loading washing machines and dryers.
