Australia Post partners with Temando
Shipping and fulfilment software platform, Temando, will integrate its services with Australia Post to streamline access to its premium delivery services and provide intelligent, cost effective shipping solutions to retailers.
As part of the new partnership, Temando connects with any online store to allow retailers to easily access Australia Post and StarTrack services within their chosen e-commerce platforms.
Retailers will be able to offer their customers a range of delivery options from the Australia Post and StarTrack suite of services, and choose from a range of parcel, freight, express and courier solutions from one platform. Temando’s technology will also enable Australia Post’s business customers to provide online shoppers with tracking visibility.
“Temando empowers retailers of all sizes to convert shipping and fulfilment, a notoriously complex cost centre, into a retail weapon to be used in the battle for more sales and cost-efficient processes,” said CEO and co-founder of Temando, Carl Hartmann.
“Our technology will help Australia Post deliver on its promise to make it easier for businesses to sell online and for customers to receive, collect and return their online purchases.”
Australia Post GM, global e-commerce platforms and digital, Ben Franzi, said the integration further cements Australia Post’s focus to become a trusted e-commerce solutions company.
“Joining forces with Temando bolsters our commitment to helping Australian businesses compete and succeed online. We’re proud to introduce an innovative solution that unlocks the potential of our combined services and offers retailers a competitive advantage in creating seamless, cost-effective delivery experiences for their customers,” he said.
