Bringing technology to the bedroom
Bedshed general manager Gavin Culmsee has gone to market with a new range of technologically enabled mattresses that are retailing for as much as $10,000.
The move, part of a partnership with US-based mattress brand Kingsdown, is occuring within the broader context of a shift towards connected homes that are increasingly leveraging technology to change the way consumers interact with furtniture.
Culmsee is looking to be at the forefront of market change in the mattress category and joined us on this week’s edition of the podcast to explain what the consumer response has been like to the range so far.
