Ebay appoints new MD for ANZ
The e-commerce multinational said Mackinnon had a “fantastic track record” during his six and a half year tenure leading selling and marketing teams.
“Tim is well-known to the Australian Ebay seller community and is well-respected by them for his deep e-commerce insight and partnership,” the company said in a statement.
Mackinnon was most recently chief marketing officer and senior director, verticals and retailer growth at Ebay, having previously served as an advisor to the Australian Government on innovation and IT industry, and as a senior associate in an Australian corporate law firm.
In June, Ebay said its sales have grown at 28 per cent in the last five years, predicting that a record $25 million to be spent on more than 12.5 million items over the month this year.
