Australian dollar rises

dollar14The Australian dollar is higher after it got a boost from gains on Wall Street driven mainly by strong sales data from General Motors and Ford.

At 0635 AEDT on Wednesday, the Australian dollar was worth 78.36 US cents, up from 78.20 US cents on Tuesday.

The Australian dollar gained ground rising from two month low, as US and European share made solid gain.
