Design agency restructures

Alex Ritchie, e2Design agencies, e2 Sydney and Melbourne, have undergone a restructure to form e2 Group Australia.

The independent design agency, which first began in Sydney in 2006 and opened an office in Melbourne in 2010, has seen national growth  over the past six months and has moved to strengthen the group’s operations.

The decision will see creative director and co-founder Alex Ritchie become group MD role following co-founder Robbie Robertson’s decision to take a non-executive director role.

The new structure will see Ritchie spearheading national operations of e2, supported by Melbourne-based group managers Danielle Barclay, as group strategy director and Nathan Bell as GM.

“Robbie and I started e2 six years ago and steered the company to becoming an award winning agency. We have a great group of creative people in the team, a strong foothold in the customer experience space and wonderful clients. I am excited to build on this success and lead the agency to more great results,” said Ritchie.

“I have enjoyed working with Alex and the rest of the e2 team for the last six years. We have built the company from scratch to becoming one of the leading customer experience agencies in Australi,” said Robertson.

“I will miss working with the team on a day to day  basis but, after working for over 18 years in branding, I’m looking forward to some time off. I am confident that Alex and the rest of the management team will steer the company to greater heights,” said Robertson.

Amber Guenther has been promoted to interior design director in Sydney to further strengthen the creative offer alongside Ritchie who also holds to role of creative director for the group.

e2 has undertaken projects for companies retailers including AMP Capital Shopping Centres, BlackBerry, Commonwealth Bank, Luxottica, Virgin Mobile,  Sony, and Bupa, among others.
