Alannah Hill returns

lousieloveAustralian fashion designer, Alannah Hill, has launched a new brand, one year after parting ways with her namesake label.

The fashion designer’s new label, Louise Love, will be stocked at department store, David Jones, from next month.

Hill made the announcement via her Facebook page, “Mr. DAVID JONES has bought my Capsule Collection and from mid September I WILL be available on the very special Designer Floor as LOUISE LOVE. I signed an exclusive contract with David Jones last week with my new Brand LOUISE LOVE and I will be available EXCLUSIVELY in five of their top stores,” she wrote.

Alannah Hill confirmed in August 2013 that she was leaving the brand she founded almost two decades ago, now owned by Factory X.

At the time, Hill said she was ‘deeply saddened’ to leave the business.

“My heart, my soul, my every little thing has been poured into creating a brand for girls who love and share my vision of ornamental, sensational, and beautiful clothes,” Hill said.

“I won’t be taking a ‘well earned break’, nor will I be going on safari! My dream is to continue to create fashion that radiates joy and the power of transformation, not just in fashion but in life itself.”
