Beginning Boutique has been ranked number one in Australia for social media engagement, impact, and responsiveness, by Engagement Labs.

Engagement Labs’ eValue is an overall measure of performance and effectiveness on a given social media channel determined by a patented algorithm and benchmarked against a database of 50,000 verified brand accounts.

Other retail brands to top the ranks in Australia were Shopo, Culture Kings, EB Games, KFC, and Flight Centre.

According to Engagement Labs, a social strategy needs to be filled with engaging content, relevant and timely responsiveness, and create impact with your customers.

Owner and director of Beginning Boutique, Sarah Timmerman, oversees all social media strategies and administrates posts and responses on both Facebook and Instagram.

The brand has amassed half a million followers on Facebook and more than 430,000 followers on Instagram.

“Having a 50/50 split of branded and non branded content is what I have found works best for BB. Our followers want to see amazing holiday destinations, delicious food and hot guys as well as our latest collection, current promotions and behind the scenes at BB,” said Timmerman.

Sarah Timmerman will present at Inside Retail’s Social Media for Retailers event in Melbourne and Sydney next week. Tickets for the Sydney event are still available here, with Melbourne now sold out.
