The Australian dollar has fallen slightly and was trading at 74.18 US cents at 0825 AEST, down from 74.24 US cents on Tuesday.
One Australian dollar buys 82.65 Japanese yen, from 82.68 ; 63.99 British pence, from 57.24 and 110.10 NZ cents, from 110.16.
