Australian dollar declines

The Australian dollar has fallen Thursday, buying 68.62 US cents, down from 68.73 US cents on Wednesday.

Yesterday, the local currency was at 68.53 US cents from 68.65 US cents on Tuesday. The Aussie dollar buys $1.06 New Zealand dollars, 62 euro cents, 55.5 British pence, 4.876 Chinese yuan renminbi.

Tuesday, the local currency was at 68.65 US cents up from 68.56 US cents on Monday closing.
