Australian dollar falls
The Australian dollar has fallen overnight to 70.79 US cents, from 70.81 US cents on Thursday.
The Aussie dollar also trades at 62.53 euro cents, up from 62.50 euro cents; 53.34 British pence, up from 53.31 pence; 79.02 Japanese yen, up from 78.73 yen; 4.751 Chinese yuan renminbi, up from 4.749 yuan renminbi; and remained stable at $1.03 New Zealand dollars.
