The Australian dollar has fallen slightly against its US counterpart Thursday, buying 72.24 US cents at 0800 AEST, slightly lower from 72.30 US cents on Wednesday.
One Australian dollar buys 80.21 Japanese yen, from 80.43 ; 63.85 euro cents, from 63.75 ; 57.04 British pence, from 56.84 ; 110.35 NZ cents, from 110.29.
