The Australian dollar has risen Wednesday and is trading at 73.60 US cents, up from 73.51 US cents on Tuesday.

One Australian dollar buys 81.34 Japanese yen, from 80.91 ; 63.73 euro cents, from 63.85 ; 57.16 British pence, from 57.30 and 110.21 NZ cents, from 110.25.
