Australian dollar slides

The Australian dollar has fallen Tuesday, buying 68.32 US cents from 68.37 US cents on Monday.

One Australian dollar buys 74.21 Japanese yen from 74.27; 61.75 euro cents from 61.83; 51.96 British pence from 52.06; 104.26 NZ cents from 104.20.
