The Australian dollar has changed slightly on Friday and is buying 71.89 US cents from 71.87 US cents on Thursday.

One Australian dollar buys 80.51 Japanese yen, from 80.10 ; 61.53 euro cents, from 61.83 ; 54.88 British pence, from 55.12 ; 109.51 NZ cents, from 109.65.
