Australian dollar slightly changed

The Australian dollar has climbed overnight  and is buying 72.26 US cents from 72.16 on Tuesday after the Reserve Bank kept the official cash rate at a record low of 1.5 per cent.

The Australian dollar was last at 71.95 US cents on Tuesday, easing from Friday’s 72.59 US cents, which was the highest since September 27, after solid US jobs data cemented expectations for a December rate rise.
