The Australian dollar has fallen slightly on Tuesday and is buying 71.15 US cents from 71.16 US cents on Monday.

One Australian dollar buys 79.09 Japanese yen, from 78.96 ; 61.39 euro cents, from 61.60 ; 54.63 British pence, from 55.07 and 109.06 NZ cents, from 108.02.
