Beam Suntory’s new Oceania executive

Beam-Suntory-300x231 copyBeam Suntory has announced that John Rosair will join the company in the newly created position of managing director, Oceania, effective August 17.

Rosair is a consumer products veteran with extensive executive and sales experience across large-scale businesses. He was most recently vice president, sales, Asia Pacific for Campbell Arnott’s. He also held key roles in 13 years at Kellogg’s, where he was VP of Sales Strategy for Kellogg’s Snacks division in the US, MD of New Zealand, and MD of Greater China and Southeast Asia.

“Oceania is a tremendously important business unit for us, and John is an outstanding leader who can help us accelerate our growth in Australia and New Zealand,” said Albert Baladi, President of Beam Suntory, International.

“Australia is the number one export market for Jim Beam and the growth engine for Canadian Club, and New Zealand is one of Jim Beam’s strongest markets. John joins our Oceania business at a time when we’re building momentum.”

Rosair will report to Baladi, serve on the international leadership team, and be based at Beam Suntory’s Sydney headquarters. Oceania is one of five business units within Beam Suntory’s International region, which also includes Developed Europe, Emerging Europe/MEA, Emerging Asia and Global Travel Retail.
