Brandon Park Shopping Centre unveils makeover

brandon-park-shopping-centre-food-courtVicinity Centres-owned Brandon Park Shopping Centre has unveiled its new contemporary food court, part of the centre’s $5.8 million makeover.

The new food court offers spacious seating pods, large communal benches equipped with phone charging outlets, seating for up to 500 and striking light interiors.

“Local dining experiences are important to our customers and our stylish and modern food court will be an ideal destination to bring family, friends and colleagues together to visit, dine, connect and experience,” said Paula Jones, centre manager. “In addition, the centre now boasts two new food retailers, Sakae Sushi and Martisz, with Dumplings Garden also opening soon.”

Vicinity has also opened a spacious parent’s room with private nursing booths, a secure toddler play area and a large baby change area. A state-of-the-art disabled toilet with an adult change hoist has been installed.

“Having a full-sized change table, which can move up and down and fold up against the wall, as well as an automatic hoist which can move across the room to transfer someone from the toilet to the change table, allows disabled visitors to be changed and go to the toilet safely – doing so with the dignity and privacy they deserve,” said Eddie Chapman, CEO of the Association for children with a disability.
