Camilla and Marc to open first Queensland store

Australian luxury brand Camilla and Marc will open its first boutique in Queensland on September 7 at the James Street shopping precinct.

The new store, its tenth in Australia, will feature the brand’s complete ready-to-wear and C&M collections. The brand will also launch its eyewear range at this location.

The brand’s Calile Hotel boutique, a nod to James Street’s inner-city industrial roots, will have custom terrazzo floors and contemporary marble accents, showcasing a modern and classic feel.

Founders Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman are working together with designer Kelvin Ho on the new store’s design.

“For all our boutiques, we place huge importance on the idea of a sophisticated, modern, yet welcoming home,” Topper said. “Each design detail, including the accents of the marble and the soft, curved finishes in the space are all very considered and true to our brand narrative.”

According to Freeman, they are looking to expanding their retail footprint to reach their customers but, he said, they will be looking into premium retail locations only.
