Camilla and Marc have announced the opening of a new standalone store in Paddington, Sydney.
The flagship store, which opens this week, will be housed in an original 19th Century terrace and is the biggest retail venture for the brother/sister duo to date.
The design and sculptural elements compliment the original building features, and create nuances of classic modernity.
Custom steel framed doors give definition and division to the space, while oversized skylights flood light into the store, further heightened by white set walls. Floors are recycled oak herringbone, coupled with coral carpet, and there is a modern marble counter complimented by custom black oxide steel rails with marble shelving. The store will house the complete Camilla and Marc collection.
Located at Five Ways in Sydney’s east, the store further heightens the locale’s status as an emerging fashion and lifestyle precinct.
The acquisition and opening of the new store is an integral step in a Camilla and Marc expansion strategy that will see their existing Glenmore Road store converted into the first store dedicated solely to stocking their highly successful second line. Additionally, the debut Camilla and Marc footwear line is set to launch in late 2014.
