Coles greenlights leasing for Aurora Town Centre

AS0098_Angle_5_05Coles has appointed Comac Retail Property Group to undertake the project leasing of the forthcoming Aurora Town Centre, which is scheduled to open in Epping North in Melbourne in mid-2017.

Once completed, Aurora Town Centre will consist of 7923sqm GLA including a new 4100sqm Coles supermarket, a 1668ssqm mini major, gym, pharmacy, medical centre and approximately 13 specialties.

Epping North is a developing suburb located in Melbourne’s outer north, approximately 23km from the CBD, within the city of Whittlesea.

“We are excited to be working on another strong Coles neighbourhood development,” Michael Haddrick, MD of Comac Retail Property Group said. “Aurora is well-placed to take advantage of the incredible growth taking place in the outer north region of Melbourne. The next generation design will appeal to the retailers and trade area alike”.

The area has enjoyed strong residential growth in northern Melbourne over an extended period and the region is forecast to continue to see high levels of growth in the coming years.

This catchment has experienced 18.8 per cent growth over the last five years and is expected to continue.
