DJs chanel parfumChanel has opened its first Espace Parfum concept inside an Australian department store, a concept that to date has only been available in Chanel boutiques.

The exclusive Espace Parfum concept is housed at David Jones’ Elizabeth St store and showcases the complete collection of Chanel fragrances, including Les Exclusifs de Chanel, and is designed to offer customers an intimate environment to try Chanel perfumes and identify their perfect scent.

The Olfactive Bar, a ceramic blotting system impregnated with the 56 fragrance concentrates of the House of Chanel allows customers to sample several perfumes without ‘fragrance fatigue’.

Specially trained beauty advisors are on site to demonstrate Les Exclusifs de Chanel, a collection of perfumes only produced in small quantities. Each fragrance has been developed by the Noses of the House and each is a creation inspired by Coco Chanel herself, including Beige, Gardenia, and 1932.

It also features dedicated make up and skincare areas inviting customers to sample products under the guidance of a Chanel beauty experts who can advise on application techniques and consult on individual complexion requirements.

“We are delighted to be launching Australia’s first Chanel Espace Parfum concept in a department store. Our objective is to offer our customers an extraordinary experience and to be the first destination for style,” said Donna Player, David Jones group executive of merchandise.

“The new Chanel Espace Parfam concept is one of a number of initiatives we have recently introduced to excite and delight customers,” Player said.
