Doctor Who pop up lands in Sydney

Dr Who pop upAustralia’s Doctor Who pop up shop has landed at Broadway Shopping Centre next door to Aldi.

The shop is exclusive to the Mirvac-owned centre and follows previous successful pop ups in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Fans of the BBC series can purchase exclusive Doctor Who merchandise, toys, gifts, DVDs and books.

The shop contains replica props and coats from the UK and Canada, as well as items from the Doctor Who range, including the new twelfth Doctor Who sonic screwdriver universal remote and a brand new range of Pop! vinyl figures.

Merchandise from other BBC brands, such as Top Gear, Sarah & Duck, Sherlock and Sooty, will also be available.

Visitors can have their picture taken inside a replica Tardis photo booth and, in the ‘Sherlock corner’ they can rifle through a dress up box and disguise themselves as the famed detective.

At Broadway until January 2016, the pop up coincides with BBC’s first ever official Doctor Who Festival Australia, taking place at Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavilion on November 21 and 22, which will be attended by a host of Doctor Who talent, including Twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi.
