The Inside Retail team has welcomed on board new editor, Jo-Anne Hui-Miller, who takes over from predecessor Justin Grey.

Hui-Miller has previously worked on retail and business titles including Telstra’s Smarter Business Ideas, Nett magazine and the Australian Gift & Homewares’ former flagship title Giftrap. Hui-Miller has also worked with visual merchandising company AUSVM and Alexandria Homemaker Centre.

“I have a great love for retail as both a journalist and consumer and I’m excited to return to the industry. It’s a creative, ever-changing landscape and I’m looking forward to being part of the community again,” Hui-Miller said.

Prior to her new role at Inside Retail, Hui-Miller was senior content manager at Mahlab Media where she worked with several clients including the University of Technology Sydney, HBF and Travellers Choice.

Meanwhile, Dimitri Sotiropoulos has been promoted to news and online editor for Inside Retail Australia and New Zealand, after being heavily involved with both the online side of the publication, as well as Inside Retail’s premium product, Inside Retail Weekly magazine and quarterly titles.

Heather McIlvaine, editor of sister publication, Internet Retailing, is also a member of the Inside Retail team, working as a journalist on our weekly magazine.

Rounding out the editorial team is new journalist Matthew Elmas, who works predominantly on Inside Retail Weekly magazine, and Joyce C. Abaño who supports the online publications.
