Williams-Sonoma’s West Elm stores will play host to Etsy pop up marketplaces in Sydney and Melbourne this month.

The pop up will be held at the West Elm stores in Bondi Junction, Sydney and Chapel St, South Yarra in Melbourne from 1-6pm on June 21.

The store will showcase one of a kind, vintage and handmade homewares and accessories from selected Australian Etsy sellers.

The local partnership is part of an ongoing relationship with West Elm that has enabled Etsy sellers to showcase goods to new audiences within their local community. Similar initiatives have already taken place in New York, London, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Etsy MD, Helen Souness, said it is exciting to be working with West Elm on the collaboration.

“Initiatives like these are driven by our desire to create more opportunities for our local makers and sellers, and help generate a more personal experience for shoppers by bringing the who, how and why behind a product to the forefront,” she said.

The products featured at West Elm’s Etsy pop up marketplace will also be available for purchase online.
