Furniture retailer and manufacturer, Fantastic Holdings Limited, has appointed Brian Cassell as its new chief financial officer and company secretary.

Cassell, who has more than 20 years experience as a public company CFO, was appointed interim CFO at Fantastic Holdings on February 17 of this year and has agreed to continue in a permanent capacity, the company stated.

Cassell previously held positions with Rural Press Limited and Fairfax Media Limited.

“We are pleased Brian has agreed to the permanent appointment, and the board looks forward to continuing to work with him and the other members of the executive management team,” said Julian Tertini, Fantastic Holdings chair.

“His appointment rounds out our leadership team, which includes Debra Singh, Group CEO retail; Jason Newman, CEO manufacturing; and Melissa Blackley, roup chief people officer.
