Cocurata is a new “art meets fashion label” founded by ex-Ksubi designer, George Gorrow, and art curator, George Benias, which aims to “provide customers a gallery like experience online.”
The label recently launched a new website, www.cocurata.com, which hosts an online store that will carry their seasonal collections, starting with the debut Spring/Summer 2015 collection entitled Extraction.
The collection features new and recent works from internationally renowned street art icons Bäst, Paul Insect and Rostarr.
SS15 will be followed closely by the Fall/Winter 2015 collection, Abstraction, featuring young contemporary art darlings Trudy Benson, Matt Jones and Steve More.
The Cocurata online store will also have exclusive one-of-one, artist made, and very limited edition objects and apparel on offer; including artist made zines, accessories and specially artist customised pieces from the collection.
Cocurata.com will also sell the brand’s own journal, which documents “the life, times and interests of the brand.
With exclusive content surrounding founders George Gorrow and George Benias and the creative team, as well as a rare insight into their incredible artist roster, the journal will serve as an intimate look at the fashion scene with an art perspective.”
