Federation Centres director retires

 

Screen Shot 2014-02-28 at 1.27.57 PMPeter Day has retired as a non-executive director of Federation Centres (FDC) and its subsidiaries.

Day has served on the board since October 2009 and is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Nomination Committee.

He will also retire from the Board of Retail Responsible Entity, which has the responsibility of the Retail Direct Property managed funds.

Federation Centres chairman, Dr Bob Edgar, said Day had made a considerable and highly valued contribution to the establishment of Federation Centres.

“Peter’s important role in helping to resolve the myriad of issues associated with the formation of Federation Centres reflected his extensive executive experience at major corporations combined with an unwavering focus on what was in the best interest of investors,” Dr Edgar said.

“The board and management team at Federation Centres wish Peter well for the future and thank him for his sound counsel during an important period for the group,” he said.
