Foodco restructures food and coffee divisions

Jamaica-Blue-FoodcoFood and coffee group, Foodco has restructured its operations and promoted two executives for its flagship brands Jamaica Blue and Muffin Break.

Effective immediately, Drew Eide has been promoted to the role of general manager Jamaica Blue and Natalie Brennan promoted to the position of general manager Muffin Break.

Foodco said the changes include the consolidation of all direct franchise support functions into clearly defined brand business units, aimed at delineating responsibility and the delivery of key strategic programs.

“As senior brand managers, Drew and Natalie have been pivotal to the exceptional growth that both brands have experienced,” said Serge Infanti, managing director at Foodco.

“Their promotions are well deserved recognition of their hard work and we look forward to the future with a great deal of excitement and optimism.”

Infanti said the new structure, will deliver programs specifically designed for the “unique requirements” of each brand.

“We’ll be able to respond to the market quicker by streamlining and narrowing the decision making process,” he said.

In other developments for the Jamaica Blue brand, Danika Heslop, executive chef, will head up a newly formed product and procurement function and Jeremy Regan, head of coffee, will lead new projects dedicated to driving growth for the coffee division of the business.
