US fast fashion chain, Forever 21 will open its first Australian store in Brisbane.
The 1900sqm store will be spread over two levels and located at Next Hotel, in Brisbane CBD’s Queen St Mall.
It is expected the store will open in mid-2014.
Next Hotel is owned by SilverNeedle Hospitality, and is currently under redevelopment, having formerly traded as Lennons Hotel.
The new hotel will target business travellers and Forever 21 will be the sole retail tenancy.
“Australia is a terrific market and we hope to make a lot of customers happy,” said Jatin Malhotra, director, real estate and development at Forever 21.
“We are satisfied to have a strong landlord help us embark this journey. We will be penetrating the market in a sustainable manner.”
