G&M Cosmetics Australia expands into Malaysia

Australian manufacturer of skincare products, G&M Cosmetics, has expanded its exports to the Malaysian retail market.

Over the last few years the company has exported to markets in Asia like Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, and now has launched in Malaysia.

G&M Cosmetics’ exports will include its premium range of brands of Australian Creams MKII, a skincare product which is both Paraben and Mineral Oil Free, representing a more natural and organic range.

Peter Bosevski, Global Marketing and Sales manager said the company has always had a high demand and interest in Southeast Asia and believed that now is the right time to enter the Malaysian market, with its population of over 30 million and a growing middle and upper class.

“The Malaysian market is a very sophisticated market where discretionary spending on imported skincare, and especially Australian-made skincare, is growing,” Bosevski said.

Together with their local Malaysian business partner G&M Cosmetics now supplies beauty chains like SaSa, a retailer with over 70 locations.

The Sydney-based G&M Australian Cosmetics has been manufacturing and supplying the Australian market for the last 22 years and in the last decade has seen a dramatic rise in exports especially into the Asian market.
