H&M confirms Chadstone store opening date

h&mSwedish retailer, H&M, has confirmed it will open its new store at the revamped Chadstone on October 13.

Chadstone will be the site of H&M’s fourth store in Victoria following the opening of H&M Werribee in July.

At 4000sqm and set over 2 levels the store will double the size of the store recently opened at Broadway.

The store will offer apparel, underwear and accessories for men, women, kids and baby as well as a home concept.

Hans Andersson, Australian country manager for H&M, said they are excited to open their new store in Chadstone next month.

“It feels fantastic to now be able to offer our customers the H&M shopping experience in Chadstone and we cannot wait to see the response on opening day,” Andersson said.

“We think H&M stores at both Pacific Werribee and Chadstone will encapsulate the unique retail shopping experience that is H&M and we are looking forward to connecting further with our customers through our wide assortment offering.”

H&M entered the Australian market in 2014. Today there are 15 stores nationwide; Melbourne’s GPO, Eastland Shopping Centre and Pacific Werribee in VIC, Macquarie Centre, North Ryde, Chatswood Westfield, Charlestown Square, Wollongong Central, Broadway and Pitt Street Mall in NSW, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, Westfield Garden City, Pacific Fair, Gold Coast and Queen Street, Brisbane in QLD and Joondalup Shopping Centre in WA.
