H&M goes west

h&mInternational fashion retailer, H&M, will open a new store at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City on August, 29 2015.

Joondalup will be the site of H&M’s first Perth store. Spanning 2,200sqms and set over two levels the store will be housed in Perth’s largest shopping destination – Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre. The store will stock apparel, underwear and accessories for men, women, kids and baby.

“We are excited to be able to announce our further expansion in the Australian market with our new store launching at Joondalup Shopping Centre on the 29th August,” said Hans Andersson, Australian country manager for H&M. “We have always seen Western Australia as an important market and we are looking forward to finally introducing the H&M brand to Perth and showing our customers the retail experience our brand has to offer.”

H&M entered the Australian market last year. Today there are four stores nationwide; Melbourne’s GPO in Victoria, Macquarie Centre, North Ryde in NSW as well as Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and Westfield Garden City in Queensland.
