The Iconic names new CFO

 

iconicAustralian online fashion retailer, The Iconic, has made several major appointments within its senior management team, as it aims for 2014 to be a year of “strategic growth”.

As part of its shake up the online retailer has appointed former Styletread CFO and head of operations, Adrian Gribbin, as its new CFO.

“The Iconic has proven itself to be a class leading player continually seeking to deliver more to the customer.”

The e-tailer has also named Sally Bonner, former senior marketing manager at Westfield Parramatta, as its new marketing director.

Clare Zacka also joins the e-commerce startup as head of customer retention, having previously managed digital, CRM, and brand, for shopping site, BrandsExclusive.

Patrick Schmidt, CEO of The Iconic, said growth was a key focus for 2014 as the e-tailer looked to expand its market leadership position.

“We have an amazing team which constantly wants to push the boundaries in customer experience and these appointments, with their extensive experience and impressive track records, reinforce that commitment.

“With more than one million orders, 250 000 IOS app downloads, and a 90 per cent net promoter score rating, we are in a great position to take e-commerce to the next level in Australia.”

In December 2013, The Iconic received US$20 million in funding from privately held investor group, Access Industries.
