Lindt to sweeten Queensland

unnamed-5Chocolate retailer, Lindt & Sprüngli Australia, will open the first Lindt Chocolate Shop in Queensland, at DFO Brisbane in early August.

The launch is part of Brisbane airport’s $30 million retail, commercial, and lifestyle transformation, which includes an expansion to the DFO centre.

This expansion will include an eastern extension of the existing DFO building to accommodate more than 30 additional retail tenancies, and an additional 5000sqm of retail space.

Stephen Loane, CEO Lindt Australia, said it is an exciting time for Lindt, with the company looking forward to working with DFO Brisbane to lay down the foundations of its new concept in Queensland.

“For many Brisbane locals a visit to one of our Sydney or Melbourne locations is a must do when visiting the city, and we now look forward to serving them closer to home,” Loane said.

The Lindt Chocolate Shop will feature classic Lindt design elements and will offer Australia’s largest selection of Lindor balls with exclusive flavours.

Lindt Australia operates eight Chocolate Cafés and four Chocolate Shops across Sydney and Melbourne, and has plans to expand both cafes and outlets in coming years.
