Spanish fashion brand, Loewe, has yesterday opened its new concept store at Chadstone Shopping centre in Melbourne.

The LVMH owned company’s new store at the recently redeveloped Chadstone spans 130sqm. It features stucco walls, Capri limestone flooring and an agate stone slab that adorns the store’s entrance – a nod to the emerald green canopy that was first designed by famed architect Javier Carvajal in 1959 for the brand’s flagship store in Madrid.

A curated selection of the brand’s iconic men’s and women’s leather goods and accessories products will be featured in the new store.

“I’m very proud of this first project in Australia,” said Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Loewe who designed the concept store.

“Ever since I joined Loewe I have wanted the brand to compete in a global scale as one of the best international luxury fashion brands. The opening of this space in Melbourne is a great step towards this.”
