Launched earlier this week, the My Macca’s app will allow Western Australians to create and customise their Macca’s meal anywhere, and at any time.

McDonald’s chief marketing officer, Mark Lollback, said My Macca’s would give customers the chance to browse the full restaurant menu at their leisure, easily customise their order if they wanted to add fresh tomato or lettuce or give pickles the flick, and pay via credit card.

“Meals are then made to order when the customer has checked in at their participating store by scanning a code at devices installed in drive thrus or at an in-store mobile check-in point,” Lollback said.

“We are constantly looking at ways to deliver new technology and innovation to our customers and are thrilled to offer the convenience of mobile ordering on devices people already use every day.”

WA is the first state to launch the company’s first ordering app, with more to follow next year. The app is available for Android and iPhone devices and can be downloaded via Google Play or at the iTunes app store.
