In a statement, the company said its staff had worked over the weekend to minimise the impact to retailers and customer from Saturday’s storm damage.

It said a full assessment on the Huntingwood site, in the city’s west, was underway.

“Damage is sufficiently serious that the ability to service orders of dry grocery and liquor in the short term has been impacted,” it said.

“We have alerted our retail customers to the issue and explained that whilst the continuity processes are implemented, there may be delays in delivering product.”
