New Look to be stocked in Oz

New lookThe Iconic has added another international brand to its growing stable of labels, British fast fashion giant, New Look.

New Look’s partnership with The Iconic, which is set to go live on Friday, will be the first time the label has been stocked by an Australian retailer.

The retailer’s offering will comprise of 40 styles online, which The Iconic says is a “a strong mix of fashion forward pieces at attractive price points”.

Adam Jacobs, The Iconic MD, said New Look joins The Iconic’s growing list of international brands that chose to enter the Australian market via online first.

“The Iconic has already redefined the way Australians shop and, with online rapidly becoming the new norm, even top international brands are now selecting online retailers first, because that’s the way of the future,” Jacobs said.

“New Look is an exciting addition to our growing portfolio of international brands who are choosing The Iconic to enter the Australian market. We are thrilled to be working with such a great brand, with core values in line with our own,” Jacobs said.

New Look began in 1969 as a single fashion store at Taunton, Somerset.

Since then, the chain has grown exponentially to become a leading name in fast fashion, with close to 600 stores throughout the UK and almost 200 across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and South East Asia.

The Iconic, founded in 2011, stocks more than 500 brands and more than 45,000 products.

Last week the e-tailer announced several major appointments within its senior management team, including a new CFO,  marketing director, and head of customer retention.
