The North Face launches training app

PrintOutdoor apparel brand, The North Face, has launched an activity-based training app to complement its latest product range, the Mountain Athletics Collection.

The Mountain Athletics Training App, first launched in the US in February 2014, is now available in Australia and New Zealand. The free app includes goal setting, customised programs, social sharing, and video demos with athlete tips.

The app’s programs are based on a six-week timeline, with a playlist of instructional videos led by The North Face Athlete Team members.

The North Face partnered with Mountain Athlete gym in Jackson, Wyoming, to inform product development and to build the personalised sport-specific training programs.

The Mountain Athletics Collection has also been released featuring FlashDry-XD technology.
