Officeworks is selling Harris Technology to Ledware, part of Anyware Corporation for an undisclosed amount. The sale is taking place in June, subject to final due diligence.

Harris Technology, a reseller of high end technology solutions to small and medium business customers has been operated exclusively by Officeworks since 2005.

The transaction includes the sale of Harris Technology’s intellectual property, intangible assets, and current inventory.

Officeworks MD, Mark Ward, said selling Harris Technology will give Officeworks the opportunity to put a greater focus on its core business, as well as help increase productivity through reduced operational complexity.

“Our technology category is strong and continues to grow, driven by ongoing efforts to introduce an innovative and inspiring range for customers. Officeworks will continue to stock an extensive range of high end technology solutions and products online and in stores,” he said.
