Brien Winther, president of Pandora, Australia and New Zealand, said the online store is part of the brand’s commitment to offering customers a consistent experience in the online and offline environments.
“While our focus is on delivering a world-class instore experience, the time has come for us to provide a way for people to purchase Pandora on a convenient, digital platform,” said Winther.
“Our online store is an important milestone for Pandora in Australia, and will allow us to complement our store network and strengthen the wonderful experience we provide consumers by giving them new ways to interact and engage with Pandora.
“Today’s customers are digitally savvy and they expect brands to be consistent with information and service, whether they are instore, online or on mobile. We are pleased to be able to provide deliver the experience that our consumers have come to expect,” he said.
Alec Goins, digital marketing and e-commerce manager for Australia/New Zealand, said the online store has been designed with the Australian customer in mind.
“A key component of our e-commerce strategy has been to align the online store with the instore experience, mirroring the stylish aesthetic of Pandora Concept Stores,” he said.
Pandora recently opened its flagship concept store in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall.
“The design of the online store makes it easy for people to find what they need, allowing them to search by gift occasion, collection, theme, metal, stone, colour, price and category, across the full range of sterling silver and 14ct gold bracelets, charms, rings, earrings and necklaces,” Goins said.
Up and running ahead of the Christmas sales period, the online store also introduces digital Pandora Gift Cards which can be redeemed online or instore. Other online features include, free express shipping for orders over $120, luxury packaging or gift packaging. Online purchases can be returned to Pandora stores or any Australia Post Shop.
