Pasta franchise in administration

 

pastacupWestern Australia-based pasta restaurant franchise, Pastacup, has been placed in voluntary administration.

Giovanni Maurizio Carrello and Mathieu Tribut of BRI Ferrier were appointed administrators of the chain on September 22. 

First opened in 2006, there are 18 Pastacup outlets across Perth and regional WA.

The chain is currently advertising franchises on its website in Eton, Bassendean, Baldivis, and South Headland.

The website also states that it is also looking to secure franchises in Leederville, Subiaco, Wembley, West Perth, Malaga, Innaloo, Kingsway, Joondalup, Wanneroo, South Perth, Victoria Park, Applecross, Myaree, Cannington, Fremantle, Willetton, Mandurah, Bunbury, Albany, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, and Broome.

Pastacup’s latest store opened in Warnbro on September 18. 

It is understood the business will be restructured with all stores to continue trading.

A meeting for creditors will be held next month on October 2.
