Podcast with Steve Dennis, Sageberry Consulting

SDInside Retail takes a look at the American retail scene this week with former Sears and Neiman Marcus executive Steven Dennis.

Speaking from first hand experience, Steven provides his take on how American retail has been disrupted and what brands can do to get back on track.

He believes retail stores around the world are due for an overhaul, a thesis he’s putting forward in an upcoming book.

Dennis also talks Amazon, how American players have tried to deal with the giant and what Australian retailers can to do avoid repeating their mistakes.

Those Australian brands hoping to fight Amazon head on with price matching and fast delivery might be in for a shock, rather he says it’s those looking to differentiate themselves from Amazon’s offer that have the best chance of success.
