New sales face

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed of Tony Dixon as director, investment sales.

Formerly of BT Funds Management, Investa Property Group and Dexus Property Group, Dixon has extensive experience in the listed and unlisted real estate fund sector, having held various management roles with groups owning assets across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Germany, France and Japan.

He brings a wide range of skills to Cushman & Wakefield, having held roles in asset management, development management, corporate finance, investment management and funds management previously.

Cushman & Wakefield MD Australia, David Woolford, welcomed Dixon to the team.

“Tony joins Cushman & Wakefield as one of the most experienced and respected industry operators not only in Australia but internationally,” Woolford said.

“He is the perfect candidate to help drive our investment sales division forward, working closely with fund managers, major institutions and private investors to build on the strong platform we have in place.”

A graduate of New York University, Dixon has also held senior roles in investment banking and corporate finance with Macquarie Bank Group and Goldman Sachs, specialising in REITs owning assets in markets as diverse as the US, Australia and Japan.

“It is an exciting opportunity to join a global power like Cushman & Wakefield at a point in the Australian market when we are poised for a return to growth and stable returns that have traditionally marked real estate investment,” Dixon said.
