Nominations for the industry’s largest awards program, the National Retail Association’s (NRA) Rewards for Excellence, close this Wednesday, April 30.

Awards include Smaller Retailer of the Year, Medium retailer of the year, Larger retailer of the year, Franchisee of the year, Multichannel Retailer of the Year, Employer of the Year, Training Excellence Award, Innovation Excellence Award, Sustainability Excellence Award, Safety Excellence Award, and HR Excellence Award.

Winners will be announced at the Rewards for Excellence Dinner at Jupiters Gold Coast on Thursday, June 12.

All nominees will also receive a free ticket to the NRA’s two day People and Operations Development Summit at Jupiters Gold Coast from June 12 – 13.

Keynote speakers of the event include Peter Birtles, MD and CEO of Super Retail Group; Todd Sampson, CEO of Leo Burnett; and Contiki founder, John Anderson.

Other summit speakers include David Peller, Google’s head of enterprise apps and Chrome, Australia and New Zealand; Anita Dorwald, operations manager, City Beach; Nicola Mills, group MD of Pacific Retail Management; Rob Phipps, chief people officer, Yum! Restaurants International; and Woolworths’ human resources manager, logistics, Ian Thatcher.
