Retail through a skater’s eyes

Miranda skaterLA-based, Cronulla born pro-skateboarder, Corbin Harris has collaborated with Westfield Miranda to shoot a one off, fantasy skate film showcasing the centre after dark through the eyes and wheels of Corbin.

The film is designed to showcase the centre, which reopened in late November following a $475 million redevelopment.

The film gives viewers after dark access and begins with Harris boarding a helicopter at Sydney airport and travelling, board in hand, to Westfield Miranda, in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.

Harris grinds down escalators and skates through the new three level fashion galleria, performing tricks against the backdrop of the underground carpark.

The skateboard Harris rides in the film is one of 100 limited edition decks featuring artwork designed in collaboration with contemporary street artist Anthony Lister, with the skateboards now sale at Surf Dive n Ski, Miranda.

Styled by Mark Vassallo, Harris is dressed in clothing  available from Westfield Miranda retailers.
