Rolex flagship opens

rolexRolex has opened its first ever Australian flagship in Sydney.

Launched in conjunction with luxury retailer, LK Boutique, the flagship is the company’s first ever standalone boutique in Australia and is located in the Henry Davis heritage building in Martin Place in Sydney’s CBD.

The 128sqm store features the brand’s latest interior design concepts including marble fixtures, aged bronze trim, polished walnut wood furnishings, and cream coloured leather.  The brand’s iconic symbol, the gold Rolex crown, decorates the entrance, the walls, display cases, and the font door handles.

“LK Boutique is delighted to be opening the doors of a Rolex boutique in one of Sydney’s most prestigious locations,” James Kennedy, MD and CEO of LK Boutique, said.

“Today marks a memorable milestone in the family business, and is a reflection upon our unwavering loyalty and commitment to the brand,” Kennedy said.

“LK Boutique looks forward to continuing to uphold the high standards of quality that are synonymous with Rolex, and that have been ingrained in our business for the last 35 years.”

While the design follows that of its overseas counterpart, the boutique also includes symbols and features of its local location including hand crafted window displays that draw on native aboriginal art.

A dedicated mezzanine level has also been designed to provide a private service section for customers.
