Rolex to open store at Sydney Airport

rolexLuxury Swiss watchmaker, Rolex, will open at Sydney Airport’s transformed T1 International fashion precinct in the second quarter of 2017, in an Australian airport first.

Set in a 130sqm space, the store will be designed with embellished with textural glass, metal and bronze detailing. The store exterior will be have an eight-metre façade in keeping with the wider 1,900sqm precinct design.

The new Rolex boutique, presented by Swiss Watch Gallery and owned by Asia’s leading luxury retail specialist, Valiram, will feature Rolex’s high precision timepieces.

“We are absolutely delighted to be the first airport in Australia to house a standalone Rolex boutique at our T1 International fashion precinct,” said Glyn Williams, Sydney Airport general manager Retail.

“World famous for its performance and reliability, it’s the perfect fit for our evolving passenger who seeks a contemporary shopping experience with exceptional choice.”

Rolex is the final brand to join the premium collection of global fashion brands, including Tumi, Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, Max Mara, Coach and Oroton – with Gucci to open shortly.
